Summer Days

Matt built the children a rope swing and they love to swing on it for hours. We have two big oak trees in our yard and the kids love laying on their backs imagining they can climb to the top of the tree.

Harper's hair is getting so long! When she takes a bath and has wet hair it goes to the middle of her back! I love her big natural curls and how feminine she is.
Gavin is our peacemaker of the family. he adores his baby sister and does all he can to take care of and protect her. He just started preschool this week and his teacher gave him an assignment to decorate a paper doll that looked like him, he wanted to have a big heart showing on his shirt because he says, "I love everybody." There is also a bird on his shoulder because he likes birds and an ice cream in his hand.

At the dinner table when I asked him what his favorite part of the day was he says it was when Harper let him hold her and matching her at church. My heart burst into a million pieces and I almost cried.

Harper wants to be just like her brothers and loves trying to keep up with the anyway she can. When she falls off her scooter, she gets right back on and tries again.

Corban and Gavin are still best friends. The summer with Corban home has been wonderful and he and Gavin spend hours pretending incredible things all day only talking to me when they are hungry and need some food.
