Matt saw on Surfline that the wedge was going to have some crazy 20 foot waves so we decided to check it out. Little did we know until we got there that a 50 year old man had died bodysurfing a few hours before we got there. Our love goes out to his family. Pictures never really do it justice but I seriously haven't seen waves like this since Pipeline and Waimea. There was one shortboarder and a handful of boogie boarders.

Corban was loving all of the excitement!

Paddling in . . .

. . . and he made it! The crowd seriously went wild.

Police officer getting ready to arrest all the knuckleheads coming out of the water since the beach was closed.

Rescue boats in the background

Hundreds of people that had the same idea as us.

You can even see people lining the cliffs to catch a glimpse

We walked four miles round trip to get there, but it was worth it.

Look who it is! Congrats you two on everything. Who would've ever thought that you two would be married? It's awesome. Also, you guys have the cutest little son. Hope all is well and we will have to get together sometime. You can email me at BradNemire@HappyHourMagOnline.com. Talk soon,
